The 100 Companies launches new editing and writing platform

Introducing 100 Words

For the past few years, The 100 Companies has been listening to member feedback and exploring ways to improve the publishing and editing experience for everyone. This month, The 100 Companies is excited to launch our new proprietary writing and editing platform, 100 Words, to our members. 100 Words offers many benefits:

  • A more user-friendly interface.
  • Standard word count.
  • Automatic hyperlinked bylines.
  • A separate, adjacent field allowing editors and writers to converse through notes.
  • Visual preview of the draft newsletter showing photos, headlines and position of stories.
  • Unlimited login accounts to accommodate expanded teams.

Beta testing is underway, and The 100 Companies staff will begin training members in August.
