Media Firm Converts The Tampa Bay 100 to Weekly, Launches The St. Pete 100 Website

The Tampa Bay 100 & Extensive Enterprises Media

Today, the team at Extensive Enterprises Media (EEM) launched its first issue of The Tampa Bay 100, increasing the frequency of the publication to weekly to better highlight community, culture, politics and more to readers’ inboxes each Thursday. EEM also launched a companion website, The St. Pete 100, featuring digital updates for in-the-know locals of nearby St. Petersburg, Florida.

Publishing since 2016 via The 100 Companies, The Tampa Bay 100 is an email newsletter featuring 100-word stories that delivers to 40,000 business and community leaders across the Tampa Bay area (subscribe), with a Google News-certified website and social media platform.

“From the first time I read my first edition of a 100 newsletter, I have been excited about what The 100 Companies is doing in digital media. I really could not believe my good luck when Chris told me that the Tampa Bay market was ready for a fresh start,” said EEM President and Editor-In-Chief Peter Schorsch of the new content partnership. “I don’t say this lightly, but I am honored to carry on the brand and am committed to upholding the high — and really cool — standards of what has been built.”

“Tampa Bay has been one of our strongest markets since its launch in 2016. We’re impressed with Peter Schorsch and his team’s plan to increase frequency to a weekly publication, and couldn’t be more pleased to relaunch The Tampa Bay 100 with an expanded readership and soft debut of its sister website, The St. Pete 100,” said Chris Schroder, CEO and Founder of The 100 Companies. “Because Peter’s firm is already a successful statewide publisher, it serves as a great complement and a compliment to The 100 Companies, as it confirms the value of our publishing offering to a team as experienced in this realm as Extensive Enterprises.”

Based in St. Pete, Extensive Enterprises Media publishes several of Florida’s premier political news websites, podcasts, newsletters and periodicals — and now The Tampa Bay 100 and The St. Pete 100. EEM President and Editor-In-Chief Peter Schorsch is one of the Sunshine State’s leading political commentators and consultants. He is the driving force behind EEM and its flagship site FloridaPolitics.com, as well as a suite of agenda-setting emails, including Sunburn – the morning read about what’s hot in Florida politics. For several years, The Washington Post ranked Schorsch’s original website as the best state-based blog in Florida. In addition to digital products, EEM also produces INFLUENCE magazine, an insider’s look at Florida politics and culture.

The 100 Companies is a digital publishing network created by journalists and marketing professionals to enhance organizations’ engagement with their targeted audiences. Each month, the firm delivers more than 2 million newsletters featuring 100-word stories, photos, videos and podcasts while managing Google-News certified archival websites with expanded content. The 100 Companies team manages all background tasks – editing, designing, producing, as well as developing and distributing to a customized email database – so its members can focus on thought leadership and nurturing relationships with clients, sponsors and prospects.
