Featured stories of the month: Olympic coverage
The 2018 Winter Olympics were a hot topic this month with our members, from Oklahoma’s Olympic preview to North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Colorado’s coverage of the Olympic athletes representing them. Alaska even dedicated an issue to Alaskan Kikkan Randall, publishing five stories on the first American woman to win a medal – nonetheless a gold medal – in cross-country skiing. Memphis also featured a video on local teacher Sable Otey, the first African-American mom to compete on the U.S. Olympic bobsled team. Watch the video below.
