360 Media, Inc. Joins The 100 Companies Network

ATLANTA – March 30, 2018The 100 Companies is excited to add 360 Media, Inc.  to its growing network of members, which will take over as the managing market member of The Atlanta 100 in April.

The Atlanta-based, award-winning agency has been working with some of the biggest names across entertainment, lifestyle and hospitality throughout the U.S. for 22 years, including Music Midtown, Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, Charlotte Marriott City Center and SweetWater Brewing Company.

The Atlanta 100 was originally founded in 2013 by SPR Atlanta as the flagship publication of what two years later became the beginning of an international PR publishing network.

“After SPR Atlanta was unexpectedly, but pleasantly acquired by The Wilbert Group, we started looking for a new PR firm manager in Atlanta,” said Chris Schroder, founder of The 100 Companies. “The very first public relations firm we approached after SPR Atlanta was acquired was our longtime friend in the business, Tara Murphy, founder of 360 Media.”

Chris Schroder and Editorial Director Jan Schroder worked with Tara Murphy years ago when they launched the Atlanta Intown Newspaper, and Tara was doing public relations for the very first Music Midtown with Concert Southern (now known as Live Nation).  Chris announced the 360 Media membership in his Thursday column.

“We were thrilled when Tara told us she would be honored to take over as the managing market member of The Atlanta 100,” said Chris Schroder. “She runs an extremely successful PR firm with a great mix of clients. Similar to SPR Atlanta, they include both hospitality clients and commercial and real estate clients. We’re confident Tara will be an outstanding partner to lead our flagship publication.”

Following the transition, The Atlanta 100 will continue to be published every Thursday to approximately 31,000 readers.

“Since its inception, The Atlanta 100 has always been a favorite of our agency due to the quick bites of interesting content and great nuggets of Atlanta storytelling. We are a society with a limited attention span and this model is perfect for how we consume information,” said Tara Murphy. “All of us at 360 Media, Inc. are excited to curate the next phase of The Atlanta 100 and other 15 members of The 100 Companies.”
