Lily Cummings has been promoted to weekend anchor at WWL-TV, bringing her extensive journalism expertise to the station’s morning lineup. A Loyola University New Orleans alumna, she joined WWL Louisiana in 2022 after earning her B.A. in Mass Communication with Magna Cum Laude honors and a Master of Studies in Law from USC.
Cummings is a 2x Emmy winner, named Louisiana Reporter of the Year in 2025. She previously covered significant stories, including the Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial, for KTUL-TV. Her dedication and accomplishments highlight her rising career in Louisiana media, and her engaging presence will now energize weekend mornings.
