Stronger Together: United Way SELA unveils disaster recovery hub

by The 100 Companies

On this 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, United Way of Southeast Louisiana and Rebuilding Together New Orleans are opening the new United Way of Southeast Louisiana Resiliency Center, founded by Rebuilding Together New Orleans at 2831 St. Claude Ave.

This storm-hardened hub will bring together nonprofits focused on disaster recovery, housing, workforce and volunteerism under one roof, ensuring our region is prepared for the next disaster and positioned to thrive.

Backed by partners like United Way, Shell, First Horizon, Hancock Whitney, Entergy and Verizon, the center represents our shared belief that resilience is built together, before the storm ever hits.
