For the past 35 years, the Ocean Conservancy has led the charge to protect our waterways with the International Coastal Cleanup. On Saturday, Sept. 18, you can bring your friends and family for a fun day outside that will help protect our wildlife by preventing litter and debris from making it into the Gulf of Mexico.
In Southwest Florida, three organizations are seeking volunteers to help clean up at parks and beaches throughout the area:
• Keep Collier Beautiful, 8:00 am-11:00 am
• Keep Lee County Beautiful, 8:00 am-11:00 am
• Keep Charlotte Beautiful, 8:00 am-12:00 pm
