The 53rd Annual AJC Peachtree Road Race returns this Fourth of July holiday. Whether you’ve been training all year to run or just want to watch this Atlanta tradition from the sidelines, here are some tips to prepare for the annual event:
• Peachtree Road from Lenox Mall to Piedmont Park will be closed off for the race.
• Arrive early to line up for the race or to grab a spot to watch.
• Remember to bring enough water and sunscreen.
• Although registration to run is closed, it’s not too late to volunteer.
