With inflation baking higher prices in restaurants, I’ve been leveraging deals available during Happy Hours. The staff is more attentive and the bartenders more adventurous during the slower time – not to mention the creative dishes often not available later.
This summer I joined high school buddies in Bozeman, Montana, where steak prices begin at $100. We hopscotched to Happy Hours at restaurants that included Revelry, Brigade and Bitterroot and found beers for $3, martinis for $3.50, wine for $7 and a Wagyu burger for $18.
As we walked out, folks in line looked at us with envy as we departed very happy.
