A powerful new exhibit, “Our War Too: Women in Service,” will open at the Atlanta History Center on Oct. 14, showcasing artifacts from The National WWII Museum that honor nearly 350,000 American women who proudly served in uniform during World War II.
The immersive exhibit includes an interactive “I Was There” video experience, allowing guests to converse virtually with women who served as drivers, nurses and bakers. More than 200 artifacts, an interactive scrapbook and film interviews vividly highlight women’s wartime contributions and enduring impact.
The exhibit brings often under-recognized stories to light, ensuring their legacy continues inspiring future generations.
