This summer, Chalmette Refining is hosting students and teachers for our annual Energy Camps. The one-day “camps” teach attendees about the kinds of jobs that are offered in the oil and gas industry. From accountants to electricians, or nurses to engineers, there are a myriad of jobs applicants can get with a high school diploma, two-year/certificate program or a college degree and beyond.
The attendees learn about what a refinery makes, take a tour, interact with employee panels and visit our firehouse (the crowd favorite).
