Dook Chase learned from the best – his beloved grandmother Leah Chase. At a recent filming of “A Chef’s Journey,” which’ll air on WYES this spring, Dook underscored the Chase family’s commitment to the community, bringing various cultures together through food.
Carrying forth the family legacy, he reflects on celebrating the traditions and flavors of New Orleans through cooking. The goal? He wants to get families together – in the kitchen and at the dining room table. In this fast-paced world, he says, slow down. Pick a day, even if it’s once a week.
