Bring nutritious meals to local students in need

Now that school is back in session, did you know that there are many children in our area that have access to meals only while at school?

The Community Center of St. Bernard is doing something about this through its Backpack Program. Currently, the center puts together bags of nutritious and easy-to-fix foods for 250 elementary and middle school children to take home every weekend, but the need is even greater.
