Jennifer Curley named D.C.’s Woman of the Year in PR

Jennifer Curley, publisher of The Association 100, was named Washington, D.C.’s Woman of the Year in PR by Washington Women in PR, a 40-year-old professional organization.

“Honoring Jennifer as the 2020 Woman of the Year Award is the bright spot of our year,” said WWPR President Sarah Beth Cloar. “Her accomplishments, leadership and contributions to the industry have made a meaningful impact on our industry and set a high standard for our member community.” The Woman of the Year Award recognizes senior-level PR practitioners for reaching the pinnacle of their career and those who have contributed tremendously to the industry, their community and served as mentors in the field.

The Curley team was also named a 2021 finalist for PR Week Boutique Agency of the Year in North America.

Paul Furiga Writes Book on Storytelling

The Johnsons Named 100 Most Influential People in Florida Politics

 

Christina Johnson and David Johnson, publishers of The OJT 100, were named among The 100 Most Influential People In Florida Politics by Florida Politics INFLUENCE Magazine.

“Christina lights up every room she enters with her charismatic personality. Her energy is magnetic, but behind her beautiful smile is a fierce advocate for her clients,” the magazine said.

“Don’t let the quiet, reserved persona fool you,” they wrote of David. “He is absorbing, questioning, looking at details, and then plans are made and we are charging forward or upward.”

Vikki Locke Named VP of C2 Communications

C2 Communications, publisher of The SWFL 100, named former Atlanta radio host Vikki Locke as Vice President of Media Relations.

C2 Founder Cyndee Woolley said, “Vikki brings a wealth of experience in media relations, national-level relationships and, more importantly, the passion to deliver measurable results for our clients.”

Vikki was inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame in 2009 and was nominated twice for a Marconi Award, the highest achievement in radio broadcasting.
